The Rodders Fellowship Chapters is designed to be an outreach tool to reach the lost in the world of motorsports. It is open to all individuals, both the saved and the lost (pre-Christian). Our intent is to develop chapters around the country to help support one another, to pray for and encourage each other to grow to be mature Christains, able to stand against the attacks of the evil one.
As our membership grows and we have at least 5 members in one local area, we will assist them in starting a Rodders Fellowship Chapter. The local chapter will be open to both believers and non-believers as we wish to bring the lost into fellowship with us. We will be different from regular secular car clubs in that our leadership will all be made up of members that are believers. The non-believers are welcome to participate with us in all that we do, becoming active in rod runs, car shows and cruises.
The Rodders Fellowship Chapters will be just like any other car club. They will make their own by-laws, rules of conduct, elect club officers and set their own dues. However, the difference is that the officers elected in the club must all be members of Rodders For Christ. Many churches are starting car clubs or fellowship groups around the interest in cars. Many non-believers will be attracted to join the club and as friendships develop we can win them to Christ. Our intention is to draw Christian car clubs from all around the country into Christian unity by using the love for cars as the common ground that holds us together. We will be starting chapters wherever we can get them started and are praying that existing Christian car clubs would be open to becoming members with us as well.
We will be publishing by e-mail weekly a calendar of events around the country, a listing of chapters and their location, a prayer request page and a praise report page. Also, we will be posting pictures of members cars if you so choose and photos with reports about the ministry at car shows, rod runs and cruise ins around the country.
We are praying that the Rodders Fellowship Chapters grow to a national level as the Holy Spirit leads the way.
